Such Thing As A Portable Freezer

banking crisis, part 2: the customer defense strategy

Was there something? If the banks have learned from some of the same crisis, it is that we are infallible, immortal, indestructible. Because in an emergency, the state with billions jumps to the side. We see a close look as a customer, one gets the impression that the SO CONTINUE UNTIL NOW follows a LAW.

In their arrogance towards their customers with some public institution most German banks in nothing. Thus, in Ulm, the question of the conditions for a business account with a copied List answered, the last a bored employee silence and pained smile over the counter. The conditions turn out on closer inspection to be at best average.

The bright spot in the desert service lights a few miles outside of Ulm in a small Raiffeisen Bank. The request by mail, sent on 28 December, is already answered on the next day (!) - Friendly, informative and with conditions that are absolutely competitive. Here I feel welcome as a customer and would open early in the new year an account. Actually quite simple.

And what follows?
first The size of a bank says nothing about Performance and service quality.
second The banking crisis has shown no cleansing effect.
third Many bank employees maintain a civil service mentality that knows no competition for customers.
4th How banks behave towards customers, often contradicts the statements in their advertising.
5th German banks maintain a self-understanding that can not afford any other sector - the banking rescue fund makes it possible.
