from Wednesday to Friday we were in Croatia. We are early in the morning set off by bus to Graz. In Slovenia, we are down to the highway and through the hinterland of Croatia on. On the way to the sea, we have looked at other 3 smaller villages in the hilly hinterland.
The first stop was in OPRTALJ (Italian Portole), but a very small mountain village. Here we had a half hour stay. The time we had to utilize the building structures and types of capture. So about 40 students are 30 min. like a bunch of Japanese people with cameras drawn through the village. Then it went straight on to Završje (Italian Piemonte). Here we had again a very short stay, but this was not bad because the place is left anyway. There are only a very few houses inhabited mostly here are only abandoned ruins. Here, nature is reclaiming what man has stolen it. Next stop: GROŽNJAN (Italian Grisignana). Finally a somewhat longer stay (1.5 hours). We should make sketches, take pictures, etc. of places in the city. Since none of us had brought along his sketchbook from the bus, the job was done very quickly. After a short tour I did my first Kuna taken at the ATM and am using Bartek (Erasmus Polish colleague) went first meal. There was Istrian Minestrone, a good hot soup. After staying in Groznjan we finally went to Novigrad. Upon arrival it was Although a bit dim, but our supervisor wanted to do that, we still get a first impression of the construction area. So we are still a little run through the city and then walk to the hotel. Got room, facing the house next door, quickly made fresh and then off to breakfast. The hotel food was not as the screamer, but it has fulfilled the purpose of the saturation. was beer, wine and other drinks are free, which has led on the second night for a fun drinking game that has not tolerate any of the Austrians. Marlen (German Erasmus student) has to represent us here worthy. I unfortunately have not played since I dme of the entire game until just before the end of what have mitgekriegt. After meals In the evening, we are still close "on a beer to EDI", that was the closest bar in the hotel. The operation has indeed looked pissig always something, but has probably recorded the largest sales in October, but since they could sell a lot of pivo. It can therefore be satisfied with our visit. Novigrad to myself there is not much to say. It's just a small town on the peninsula, and in summer overflow, but slept outside the holiday season very much. How Istria Novigrad has a very Italian flair and quite beautiful, but rocky beaches. It was quite beautiful and is worth a second trip.
Friday we arrived approximately at 20.30 in Graz, was still fast Essen went on Saturday and at 8:15 started to Heidelberg, where we for the 80th Birthday of Lisa's grandmother had been invited. Once again we have set our feet on German soil and have been hit at Frankfurt airport and a few scraps of the same Schwäbisch we took the ICE train to Mannheim on. Lisa's uncle picked us up and finally on Saturday night received magnificently with steaks, pasta and salad. It was herrlisch. Yesterday, on Sunday has Lisa's grandmother with family and friends then its 80th Birthday celebration and it was eating well again and lush. After culinary weekend in local regions, we are now back at the neighboring land sympathetic figure.
